What are the funding sources?

Since we are in phase 1, the only funding source is from fundraising through affiliate programs.  Tax-exempt status will be filed for in phase 2.  Subscribe to the blog for updates.

Does the DNA Fund accept direct donations?

Not at this time, but possibly by the end of phase 2.

Who administers fund dispersals?

The President and Treasurer.

How are testing scholarships and grants awarded?

The criteria and application process will be forthcoming.  The DNA Fund has a volunteer panel of grant reviewers.

I'm a DNA project administrator who has someone in our project that really needs to be upgraded to refine a match.  The problem is that the participant is on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay for it.  Would he qualify for a grant?

With the case you describe, its likely that he would qualify, but he would still need to go through the application and review process.
